INGREDIENT PROFILES
- AVOCADO OIL
is obtained from the ripe Avocado fruit and is generally expressed from the seed. With a generous amount of Palmitoleic Acid it supports the health of your skin, is highly nutritious, protecting, regenerating with good levels of Vitamin A, D and E and is a superb emollient for dry skin, transporting active substances into the dermis. - JOJOBA OIL
traditionally held in high regard by Native Americans in the Sonora Desert, is as a vital ingredient in this formulation. It will sink rapidly into your skin for extra moisture, allowing your skin to breathe, and can significantly soften your skin by reducing transepidermal water loss. - ORGANIC LAVENDER FLOWER WATER
Lavender Flower Water contains all the same plant essence components as essential oil, has all the beneficial qualities and sweet aroma of essential oil. Lavender is generally used on mild cuts and burns and provides soothing relief. It can also be used on insect bites, it has antibacterial properties and helps reduce itchiness.
- BLACKCURRANT EXTRACT
is a source of gamma-linolenic acid (GLA) and has as well antioxidant and skin soothing properties. Black Currant Extract is useful in reducing wrinkle formation and helps to repair tissue damage.
- HYALURONIC ACID
Hyaluronic acid, also called Hyaluronan and abbreviated as HA, is a glycosaminoglycan, a fancy name for a vital naturally-occurring substance that’s part of skin’s youth-supporting matrix and naturally produced by your body. Hyaluronan is of fundamental importance to our skin: as we’ll see, it provides our skin with essential hydration.
Hyaluronic acid infuses the skin cells with water, improving your skin’s ability to absorb moisture and nutrients. This is due to hyaluronic acid’s astonishing ability to hold up to one thousand times its molecular weight in water within the cells of the skin. It reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles by smoothing and plumping up your skin cells, making the contours of your face appear more youthful and radiant.
(Please note that the Hyaluronic Acid we are using is made by producing enzymes from a bacteria-based biofermentation process and NOT sourced from poultry (roosters' combs), as are many others.)

I suffer from the worse dry skin on my legs! This cream hydrates really well without that heavy suffocatingly oily feeling! The only thing I wished for was a bigger bottle! I will definitely repurchase.

Not surprised this won an award.
A lovely lotion (bear that in mind - lotion, not cream, so less thick) that is non greasy, absorbs well and leaves my skin silky and nourished without feeling weighed down.
I sometimes even interchange it with the day moisturiser cream if I feel my face needs something a little lighter.

Lately, I've been reaching for this lovely hand made Rejuvenating body lotion from @gerlindenaturals 💜 One of the key ingredients is Arctic Blackcurrant extract which is rich in gamma linoleic acid to repair and rejuvenate skin. Although light in texture, it hydrates as well as a much richer cream, leaving skin supple, smooth and with a delicate citrus/floral scent. It works well for my dry skin but is light enough to suit everyone. I can see why this lotion won a Bronze medal at last year's FreeFrom Skincare awards and it's vegan friendly too 💜💜💜

I first came across Gerlinde Naturals through a beauty site I write reviews on and the product I tried was an avocado and jasmine handcream which I loved and reviewed on here some time ago.
This body lotion was a product that Gerlinde created and released last year or earlier this year and since then it has won a bronze award in the ‘Free From’ Skin care awards for being a great natural body lotion.
The thing that I love about when the parcel arrives is that the product is packed up like a gift. It comes in a white or brown recycled cardboard box with a lovely little silver charm attached to it. Inside the product is nestled in either green shredded tissue or purple folded crumpled tissue. It really is beautifully presented.
If you buy regularly then you can earn loyalty points on the site too.
The lotion is not thick like a butter but is more of a rich lotion. It comes out easily through the push pump and enough comes out each pump to moisturise a large section of my body.
The lotion being natural does sink into my skin without leaving a greasy or sticky feel to my skin. I find my skin immediately feels soft and full. It looks healthier and feels lovely to touch and in itself.
I love the smell of this lotion, it is fresh and natural and the lavender combines with lemongrass and geranium oil to make a scented lotion that is not overwhelming but makes me feel calm and clean and refreshed.
I have sensitive skin and find that this really helps when I am suffering from itchiness as it calms the itchiness and stops my skin feeling so dry and tight.
RECOMMENDED?
Yes indeed. I loved it even before it was award winning and am not surprised it won an award. This is one of the nicest body lotions I have ever used and it is genuinely natural not like some of the expensive brands who claim to be natural.

Really easy to use and very well written and clear labelling It just felt amazing, looked amazing and smelled amazing - it really was love at first use! I love the silky soft texture, it feels really high quality, very hydrating but absorbs quickly into the skin and doesn't leave a greasy residue. I love the smell too, it's really uplifting. Really well and leaves a lovely glow on your skin, even after our chilly winter months. It really is an excellent product, that I feel was almost produced just for me as I find my very sensitive dry skin very reactive just loves this. all the skin on my body looks hydrated, supple and soothed. I have absolutely no rough bits (not even on tough areas like elbows, knees and the soles of your feet) and I have had no reaction what-so-ever to using this apart from a big smile on my face! Absolutely!! I will most definitely buy this again and other products from Gerlinde, as I am sure the rest of her range will be made with the same love and attention using natural, high quality ingredients. The bottle comes in a box which makes it look like a present! It has a gift tag on which says "with love" which I feel is so sweet. The inside looks a little garish but the green stuffing reflects its natural roots. I always know when a product smells amazing (and tastes just as good) as my little, cheeky pug tries to lick the cream off and I can report that her little tongue was going crazy every time I put this on, all over my body, after showering (note to self - lock the bathroom door!) Love this - thank you Gerlinde!

Skin felt moisturised and soft without being greasy. Skin didn't have any shine which some moisturisers can leave. Body lotion had a very light, fluid which was pleasant to use. Had a mild scent of geranium which was relaxing. Absorbed extremely quickly. Could get dressed almost immediately. Liked how the product didn't just sit on the surface of the skin. the product did a good job of moisturising skin but I did feel like I had to use it daily to maintain moisture levels as it absorbed so quickly. Skin felt to get less dry between uses and had a softness about it. No worsening or downsides. the product was an enjoyable moisturiser to use. It would be something I would be more likely to buy as a gift for a friend or ask for as a gift as it came so wonderfully packaged in a box with green shredded paper. Liked the actual product as there was no greasy feel and it absorbed quickly but I would make the bottle bigger. Labelling was very clear and good ingredients like hyaluronic acid. Packaging gorgeous, felt very extravagant when opening the box.

skin was hydrated, felt smooth, nice fragrance, immediately skin felt nice. nice gentle fragrance, bottle says avacado, blackcurrant, geranium and lavender, can't say any of these dominate but it was very pleasant. the lotion was light and absorbed easily. used this after daily shower on legs which can get pretty scaly!! this lotion cured that, did a very good job. skin condition on legs continued to improve, skin better a month in, nothing bad to record. the product delivered very well over the course of a month, skin on legs much improved. Beautifully packaged, nice and modern, ingredients fine, a bit pricey but would be a lovely present, ingredients fine, a really nice lotion

My skin looked and felt moisturised after the first use. This is a lighter cream than I would usually use. I didn't notice any immediate difference. Although the ingredients list lavender and geranium it smelt very lemony to me.It was also a very light cream. I liked both the smell and the texture very much. Initially the product didn't absorb into my skin as well as usual (sat on top for a while because I think that I used too much) but after several days usage it began to absorb much better. It performed very well on a day to day basis. It has kept my skin soft and moisturised very well. My skin does feel softer after several weeks usage. There have been no downsides to using this
I feel that this has delivered. I will definitely buy this again. This product looks stylish but it arrived in a very pretty box with a charm attached to it. The site states that the products are vegan and freshly made on the day of order and this particular cream has a shelf life of 12 months. It seems a perfect blend of technology and a homemade organic product. I will be investigating this brand further
