What happens when you wash your face with foaming facial cleansers?
Because foaming cleansers are rather harsh on your skin most of the time and contain SLS's to produce big lather, they strip your skin of its natural oils and can cause skin irritation. Admittedly your skin will feel very clean but maybe also very tight and dry. Your skin will stress and try to repair itself.
It is possible to escape this cycle by using the Oil Cleansing Method. You will have fewer, if any, breakouts (read my Blog Post about Acne and Spots), and your skin won’t feel dry or stretched because its natural protective oils remain. It might seem counter-intuitive, but oil dissolves other oil; by massaging it into the skin, the cleansing oil loosens the ‘bad’ oil that has hardened and lodged in the pores and reveal beautiful clean skin.
DIRECTIONS
1) Warm a few drops of cleanser between your hands and apply to cheeks, forehead, nose and chin
2) Spread the cleanser in small circular motions from the chin towards the ears
3) Place your fingers on the inner corners of your eyes and spread cleanser over cheeks towards temples in upward movements
4) Massage cleanser with fingers from tip of nose to the bridge, to the forehead, gently cleanse both sides of nose
5) Don’t forget to work the cleanser in around the mouth
6) Spread cleanser outward from the middle of the forehead in little circular motions
7) Place a warm, damp soft Cotton Cloth on your face for about 1 minute (this will open your pores and prepare for the next step to remove even more build up). Remove the cleanser with the same Cotton Cloth.

It is of non-greasy consistency, regulates the flow of sebum, guards against skin imbalances and can tone and significantly soften your skin by reducing transepidermal water loss. - APRICOT KERNEL OIL
is an oil with a light, soft touch. It has excellent nourishing, revitalising and anti-inflammatory properties. A generous Vitamin E content provides free radical protection from oxidation.

! I just wanted to update you on my use of the cleansing oil and calming moisturiser. Oh my goodness I have never been so impressed by skincare products. I’m absolutely in love! I have highly sensitive skin and there is a history of rosacea in my family but these products are truly amazing. Any acne, scarring, and hyper-pigmentation has reduced massively just from using these products for a short amount of time. I’m only 20 but I really believe in taking care of your skin properly with natural, beneficial products and I am so delighted that I found your wonderful brand. WOW again - Swift service, pretty packaging & a prime product! This purchase was 'an experiment' as it did feel counter-intuitive to cleanse with an oil. These are wonderful quality and fab for my dry, menopausal and eczema prone skin. Although they are available without fragrance, I tolerate natural fragrance well normally and have had no issues. They smell wonderful incidentally. Natural plant oils work well on my skin. They are well packaged and nicely presented too. In all I highly recommend these items.

Love love love the cleansing oil, I've tried others a few times when I've left it too late and ran out but always come back as nothing compares so have learned my lesson to stick with what works. The new refill bottle makes it easier not to run out, I asked and it appeared on the website within hours, fantastic customer service.
Lin has always been great for advice, super helpful and personable which you don't get from the big brands. Been a customer for a long time and will continue to be.

I love this cleansing oil, I used it years ago and changed but came back as nothing really compares to it. Does a great job of taking off make up, cleansing the skin and leaving it soft but not sticky, leaves my skin looking great. The only downside is that the packaging is lovely for a first order but I'd rather be able to buy a refill bottle at a lower cost without the pump and gift packaging for subsequent purchases.

i have used many cleansers for my face but have to say this is the best i have ever used. combined with the cloth to remove the oil my skin felt so clean and looked so vibrant my friends all noticed. after using a muslin cloth for quite a few years i found the towel so much better. the day moisturiser was light and just glided in to my skin and smelt lovely and fresh. i am going to be using these products for a very long time and so glad i found them. thank you Gerlinde for making such lovely products they are a credit to you.

This cleanser is the Bees knees of any cleanser I have tried.and I have tried loads., it glides on face effortless and is brilliant for doing a little face massage which I love doing. Then the beautiful little cloths gently wipes away all traces of make up leaving the most smoothest soft skin ever. I truly love it, anyone with oily ski need never be afraid to use this beautiful cleanser with a lovely fresh subtle scent !!
