Welcome to the GerlindeNaturals website terms and conditions for use. These terms and conditions apply to the use of this Website and by accessing this Website and/or placing an order you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below.

It is the responsibility of the customer to test suitability and compatibility of all raw ingredients to ensure they are safe and fit for purpose. Our products are made with naturally derived ingredients, which in rare cases may cause sensitivity in certain individuals. If sensitivity occurs, discontinue use. If you are uncertain about possible sensitivity, always do a patch test before use.

*All GerlindeNaturals products have been professionally formulated and certified for safe use by a qualified chemist as required by current legislations to legally produce and distribute natural skin care products.

Storage of skin care products
GerlindeNaturals products are freshly prepared in small batches and carry a 'best before' date for guidance. Refrigeration is not necessary (yet Floral Waters and Toners might benefit), but storing away from heat, keeping products out of direct sunlight (window sills) and closing lids fully after use will maximise the products' shelf-life.

Description of products
Each product purchased is sold subject to its product description which sets out additional specific conditions related to that product. We will take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of products appearing on our website are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered onto the system.

We accept PayPal and  all Major Credit an d Debit Cards. Your payment w ill be processed via  a secure (Thawte SSL123 Certificate) PayPal Braintree payment gateway. A secure SSL connection which provides industry standard data encryption of information will transfers data from your computer to the website, ensuring safe online transactions.

You will be asked to select your preferred method of payment during the checkout process.
GerlindeNaturals never receives your credit or debit card details and never keep such information on their own system.

We also accept Bank Transfers within UK and EU
Select this option at checkout and you will be given further information on where to send your payment. Once we have received your payment, we will send you a payment confirmation and will send out your order.

Import duty
If you order products from the site for delivery outside the UK, they may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied when the delivery reaches the specified destination (from experience there is no import duty for US, Canada and Australia because of the type of goods and average amount of purchase that has to be declared and is accepted by customs). Please note that you will remain responsible for payment of any such import duties and taxes. 

We endeavour to dispatch products, which are freshly produced on order, within 4-5 days after the date they are received and paid for (except weekends). However, please note that we cannot be held accountable if on the rare occasion delivery takes longer than mentioned above.

Delayed Deliveries
If you do not receive your order within 14 days of delivery, please contact us regarding non-delivery. Royal Mail requires us to wait 21 days before making a claim against missing items. Whilst we take steps to ensure your order is delivered in good time, we cannot be held responsible for deliveries delayed by either Royal Mail or by courier companies.

Please note that it is up to the customer to ensure that their delivery information on their order is correct. Royal Mail will not compensate for any non-deliveries where the delivery information is incorrect and we would therefore be unable to refund the cost of your purchase if your order went missing.

Vouchers are non-refundable but may be transferred to another person.
Vouchers can be exchanged for goods online at www.gerlindenaturals.com
Gift vouchers may not be exchanged for cash.
If the goods purchased online total less than the value of the gift voucher, any balance will be left as a credit for you with 
www.gerlindenaturals.com, and will be redeemed against subsequent orders.
If you have to return goods you have purchased online using gift vouchers, then in most instances we will credit against further purchases. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Returns Procedure and Refund Policy
We hope you will be pleased with your purchase and are sure you understand that due to the nature of the products sold, we are unable to offer any refund once your purchase is opened. 
Should you wish to return anything bought from us and the product is in re-saleable, perfect condition, we will be happy to refund or exchange the product. Returns should be made within a reasonable time (usually 14 days) and in original, undamaged packaging.

If we find that the product has not been returned to us in fully re-saleable condition, we reserve the right to refuse a refund on the item, or deduct up to 30% of the original selling price from the refund amount.

Our products are wrapped either in corrugated cardboard or boxes and cushioned with packing chips or bubble wrap in a suitable postal box. Therefore we cannot be held responsible for damage that occurs in transit.

We will refund the price of the item to the purchaser or exchange the product once it is received by us.

Damaged Goods
You should inspect the goods when you receive them for damage or defects. In the event that your order is found to be damaged or defective, please contact us as soon as possible. The goods should be promptly sent back to us including the original invoice and packaging. We will then offer you a full refund or replacement including postage.

You have the right to cancel your order. This right starts when you place your order and ends 7 working days after the day on which you receive your goods. If you wish to exercise your right to cancel, you can do so by sending a notice of your intention to cancel to GerlindeNaturals by email to info@gerlindenaturals.com.

If you cancel and the goods have been dispatched, you will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us. Please do this as soon as possible. Where you have exercised your right to cancel, you are under a statutory duty to take reasonable care of the goods and return them to us in a saleable condition. We will not accept any responsibility for loss or damage to goods returned in this way until they are received at our address. We strongly recommend that returns are sent by ‘registered delivery' and the original proof of posting is kept.

Intellectual property and right to use

You acknowledge and agree that the material and content contained within the Website is made available for your personal non-commercial use only and that you may (if necessary to make a purchase) download such material and content onto only one computer hard drive for such purpose. Any other use of the material and content of the Website is strictly prohibited. You agree not to (and agree not to assist or facilitate any third party to) copy, reproduce, transmit, publish, display, distribute, commercially exploit or create derivative works of such material and content.

General conditions
We guarantee that all products offered for sale on this website are fit for their intended purpose. However, the information on this website describing the traditional uses and perceived benefits of natural ingredients is from published sources and is provided for information purposes only, and is without warranty; either expressed or implied. Gerlinde Naturals reserves the right to change, add or or amend content or information contained in this website at any time.

Animal testing
This is to confirm that Gerlinde Naturals do not knowingly purchase ingredients or products that are tested on animals. Using animals as part of cosmetic ingredient testing has been banned under EU law since 2009 and we wholly endorse this.

Third party links
To provide increased value to our Users, we may provide links to other websites or resources for you to access at your sole discretion. You acknowledge and agree that, as you have chosen to enter the linked website we are not responsible for the availability of such external sites or resources, and do not review or endorse and are not responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for the privacy practices of such websites, the content of such websites, including (without limitation) any advertising, content, products, goods or other materials or services on or available from such websites or resources or the use to which others make of these websites or resources, nor for any damage, loss or offence caused or alleged to be caused by, or in connection with, the use of or reliance on any such advertising, content, products, goods or other materials or services available on such external websites or resources.

Consumer Rights according to Trading Standards

Under SOGA (Sale Of Goods Act) if an item is faulty, it means that it is

• not of satisfactory quality

• not fit for purpose

• does not match the retailer’s description.

If an item you have bought is faulty you may be legally entitled to a refund or a repair or replacement. What you are entitled to will depend on a number of factors; contact Consumer Direct for more information.

You do not have a legal right to receive a refund, repair or replacement for any of the reasons listed

• fair wear and tear

• accidental damage or misuse of the item

• if you don’t want the item any more, for example it is the wrong size or colour

• if you knew the item was faulty when you bought it

• if you misused the item and caused a fault

• if you tried to repair the item or had someone else try to repair it, which damaged the item

• if it is over six years since you purchased the item, or for goods purchased in Scotland, if it is over five years since you discovered the fault.

If you buy an item by mail order, telephone or online you have the same rights if the item is faulty (see above). You also have an important additional right if you want to return the item:
you can cancel your order any time from when you place it up to 7 working days from the day after you receive the goods – even if the item is not faulty.

Privacy Policy

Personal identification information

We may collect personal identification information from Users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Users visit our site, register on the site, place an order, subscribe to the newsletter and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources we make available on our Site. Users may be asked for, as appropriate, name, email address, mailing address, phone number.

Non-personal identification information

Web browser cookies

Our Site may use "cookies" to enhance User experience. User's web browser places cookies on their hard drive for record-keeping purposes and sometimes to track information about them. User may choose to set their web browser to refuse cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent. If they do so, note that some parts of the Site may not function properly.

The two cookies that are used within our Bluepark software are as follows:

PHPSESSID - Contains a PHP "session ID", expires when the browser is closed

The "PHPSESSID" cookie is required so that the site can recognise the same user clicking from page to page. Without it, every page would be treated as the first visit to the site, and anything added to the shopping basket would be instantly forgotten. Online shopping would, therefore, be impossible.

Session - Contains a PHP "session ID", can also contain an email address and encrypted password, expires after one year

The "session" cookie is intended for the user's convenience, Bluepark creates this with a copy of the initial session ID so that they can be classed as "returning" and the contents of the shopping basket will still be available. If the user signs in with an email address and password, these login details are are also saved so that they can remain logged in when returning (the password is encrypted!). If the user signs out, their login details are removed from the cookie.

You can choose to have your computer warn you each time a cookie is being sent, or you can choose to turn off all cookies. You do this through your browser (like Chrome, Safari, Netscape Navigator or Internet Explorer) settings. Each browser is a little different, so look at your browser Help menu to learn the correct way to modify your cookies. If you turn cookies off, you won't have access to many features that make your site experience more efficient and some of our services will not function properly.

How we use collected information

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information. Your personal information is contained behind secured networks (Server) of Bluepark.co.uk https://www.bluepark.co.uk/privacy.html and is only accessible by a very limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. When you place orders or access your personal information, Bluepark offers the use of a secure server. All sensitive/credit information you supply is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. No payment information, such as credit card number, is ever stored within our site or the Bluepark's servers.

Sharing your personal information

We do not sell, trade, or rent Users personal identification information to others. We may share generic aggregated demographic information not linked to any personal identification information regarding visitors and users with our business partners, trusted affiliates and advertisers for the purposes outlined above. We may use third party service providers to help us operate our business and the Site or administer activities on our behalf, such as sending out newsletters or surveys.
