We - Gerlinde Naturals - are committed to protecting your personal information when you are using the Gerlinde Naturals website and any of our products or services. We want to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for our customers. This Privacy Policy relates to our use of any personal information you provide to us through the Gerlinde Naturals website.
In order to provide you with the full range of services, we are sometimes required to collect information about you.

Personal identification information - What information will Gerlinde Naturals collect?

We may collect personal identification information from Users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Users visit our site, register on the site, place an order (date and time of order, payment method, products ordered, order amount, shipping method, number of loyalty points, new or returning customer or guest), subscribe to the newsletter and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources we make available on our Site. Users may be asked for, as appropriate, name, email address, mailing address, phone number.

We will collect personal identification information from Users only if they voluntarily submit such information to us. Users can always refuse to supply personally identification information, except that it may prevent them from engaging in certain Site related activities.

Non-personal identification information - What information will Gerlinde Naturals collect?

We may collect non-personal identification information about Users whenever they interact with our Site. Non-personal identification information may include the browser name, the type of computer, IP address (host name and country location), length of visit, page views and technical information about Users, type of device used, such as mobile or desktop, means of connection to our Site, such as the operating system and the Internet service providers utilized and other similar information.

Web browser cookies

A cookie is a file containing an identifier (a string of letters and numbers) that is sent by a web server to a web browser and is stored by the browser. The identifier is then sent back to the server each time the browser requests a page from the server.

Cookies may be either “persistent” cookies or “session” cookies: a persistent cookie will be stored by a web browser and will remain valid until its set expiry date, unless deleted by the user before the expiry date; a session cookie, on the other hand, will expire at the end of the user session, when the web browser is closed.

Cookies do not typically contain any information that personally identifies a user, but personal information that we store about you may be linked to the information stored in and obtained from cookies.

Our Site may use "cookies" to enhance User experience. User's web browser places cookies on their hard drive for record-keeping purposes and sometimes to track information about them. User may choose to set their web browser to refuse cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent. If they do so, note that some parts of the Site may not function properly.

The two cookies that are used within our Bluepark software are as follows:

- PHPSESSID - Contains a PHP "session ID", expires when the browser is closed
The "PHPSESSID" cookie is required so that the site can recognise the same user clicking from page to page. Without it, every page would be treated as the first visit to the site, and anything added to the shopping basket would be instantly forgotten. Online shopping would, therefore, be impossible.

- Session - Contains a PHP "session ID", can also contain an email address and encrypted password, expires after one year
The "session" cookie is intended for the user's convenience, Bluepark creates this with a copy of the initial session ID so that they can be classed as "returning" and the contents of the shopping basket will still be available. If the user signs in with an email address and password, these login details are are also saved so that they can remain logged in when returning (the password is encrypted!). If the user signs out, their login details are removed from the cookie.

You can choose to have your computer warn you each time a cookie is being sent, or you can choose to turn off all cookies. You do this through your browser (like Chrome, Safari, Netscape Navigator or Internet Explorer) settings. Each browser is a little different, so look at your browser Help menu to learn the correct way to modify your cookies. If you turn cookies off, you won't have access to many features that make your site experience more efficient and some of our services will not function properly.

Your Rights

In this Section we have summarised the rights that you have under data protection law. Some of the rights are complex, and not all of the details have been included in our summaries. Accordingly, you should read the relevant laws and guidance from the regulatory authorities for a full explanation of these rights.

All customers who have created an account on our website can access the data we hold about them by logging into their account. Customers can change any information stored about them within the Personal Information section of their account.

Your principal rights under data protection law are:

Providing the rights and freedoms of others are not affected, we will supply to you a copy of your personal data. The first copy will be provided free of charge, but additional copies may be subject to a reasonable fee.

b) You have the right to have any inaccurate personal data about you rectified and, taking into account the purposes of the processing, to have any incomplete personal data about you completed.
